Metra Makes a Big Impact at Big Iron Show 2024 in North Dakota

At this year’s Big Iron Show in North Dakota, Metra Grain Cleaners brought top-notch innovation to the heart of the farming community, showcasing its latest grain cleaning technologies. Farmers were excited to see Metra’s lineup in action, including the Aerodynamic grain cleaners with cyclone dust collectors ADS-200-CDC, Vibration grain cleaner VDSC-400, Pre cleaner SCG-400 and the impressive Color Sorter 6AS-68. Metra’s equipment was designed with efficiency and reliability in mind, catching the eyes of farmers from across the region.

A key highlight of the event was the hands-on demonstrations of Metra’s equipment. Many visitors brought samples of their own grain to see Metra’s technology in action. Farmers were impressed with the immediate results, as the equipment flawlessly cleaned and sorted the grains, removing impurities and separating by color and density right before their eyes. 

Thanks to the event, even more farmers became happy owners of Metra machines, as the showcase highlighted how Metra’s solutions are designed to cater to farms of all sizes – from compact operations to large-scale farming.

Visitors to the Metra booth didn’t just walk away with valuable insights into grain processing. Everyone who stopped by received a special $500 Metra voucher towards future purchases, while one lucky attendee won the grand prize of an ADS-200E grain cleaner!

It wasn’t all about machines though. We made sure everyone had a good time with free popcorn and Coca-Cola, and visitors could also grab some exclusive Metra merchandise. To top off the event, the crowd enjoyed performances by Home Free and Lee Greenwood, making it a day to remember.

What made this year’s event even more significant for Metra was the opportunity to build new partnerships and expand networks. Delegations from across the U.S., Canada, and other parts of the world visited the booth, including a notable group from Kazakhstan. These international contacts, facilitated through programs like the Big Iron International Visitors Program, provided Metra with direct access to global buyers and potential distributors.

The show attracted over 900 exhibitors and international delegations, allowing Metra to engage with key players in agriculture and demonstrate how its advanced machinery can help farmers increase efficiency and productivity​.
